Ingredients

  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg white
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Place butter in mixing bowl along with sugar. Cream until the mixture is fluffy.
  3. Break the egg into the mixture, and stir it in completely.
  4. Add the nutmeg and flour to the mixture, and stir in completely.
  5. Spray or butter the cookie sheets.
  6. Place teaspoons of the batter onto the cookie sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Place in the oven and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
  8. Take the cakes out of the oven, if the cakes have stuck together, use a knife to cut them apart.
  9. Use spatula to place the cakes onto a plate.
  10. Enjoy.

2 cookie sheets, 2 oven mitts, Cooling rack, Baking spray/a little extra butter, Knife, Spatula, Large mixing bowl, Measuring spoons, Plate
