Ingredients

  • 6 bananas, halved but unpeeled
  • 1 cup weak brewed coffee
  • ¼ cup white granulated sugar
  • ½ stick cinnamon
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except bananas in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat until reduced to ½ cup. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Brush bananas liberally with coffee mixture. Grill over medium high heat just until marked and slightly charred.
  3. Remove from heat, peel, and drizzle several more spoonfuls of syrup over bananas. Serve with remaining syrup on the side.
