- 6 tbsp white mustard seeds (Sinapis alba)
- 5 hard-boiled egg yolks
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 4 tbsp whole wheat flour
- ½ cup natural apple vinegar or wine vinegar
- 4 tbsp honey, treacle, or date syrup
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Toast mustard seeds in a skillet without oil. Let cool.
- Pound the seeds with a mortar and pestle.
- Crush the boiled yolks, and add to ground mustard seeds.
- Crush the garlic and add to the mixture.
- Toast the flour in a skillet without oil and add to the mixture.
- Mix in vinegar, salt, and honey.
