Ingredients

  • ½ cup tequila
  • 3 tbsp mesquite honey
  • ¼ tsp liquid mesquite smoke
  • ¼ cup freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • 1 habanero chile, puréed until smooth
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp freshly-ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in an 8-ounce mason jar. Keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. Shake well before using.
