- 1 lb ground pork or beef, cooked and drained
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 medium-sized onion, diced and sautéed
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 medium-sized potatoes, boiled, mashed, and cooled
- Fish batter
Directions
- Combine the cooked meat, breadcrumbs, cooked onion, parsley, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, water, coriander, and mashed potatoes.
- Form the mixture into a disc about 3 inches in diameter.
- Dip the disc into the batter so it's completely covered.
- Deep-fry in 375°F oil, and remove when golden brown.
- Serve hot with chips (French fries).
