Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • ¾ cup (185 ml / 6.3 fl oz) water
  • ½ very ripe banana
  • 1 orange, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cm (0.8 inch) piece ginger, peeled and chopped
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus extra for dusting
  • ½ tablespoon fat-free natural (plain) yogurt
  • Ice cubes to serve

Directions

  1. Microwave the carrots with 2 teaspoons water in a microwave-safe bowl on high for 4–5 minutes.
  2. Put the carrot in a blender with remaining ingredients except ice cubes and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into two tall glasses and add some ice cubes.
  4. Dust with a little cinnamon and serve.
