Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon juice or vinegar (cider or white wine)
- 2/3 cup (160 ml) buttermilk
- 1 cup (230 g) mayonnaise
- ¾ cup (180 g) sour cream
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 4 oz (115 g) any variety of blue cheese
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except the blue cheese and whisk until smooth and homogeneous.
- Dice the blue cheese into approximately ½ inch (1 cm) cubes. Most blue cheese is crumbly, so you'll wind up with a lot of crumbs as well as larger chunks.
- Pour the mayonnaise mixture into a serving container and stir in the cubes and crumbs of cheese.
