Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 2–4 apples
  • 2 pears
  • 1 pinch of sugar (optional)
  • 1 pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)

Topping

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup margarine or butter
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • Dash of salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F.
  2. Grease bottom of large casserole dish with some margarine.
  3. Combine filling ingredients together and pour into casserole dish.
  4. Combine topping ingredients together.
  5. Layer topping on top of apple/pear mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered in the middle of the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes, until bubbling and lightly brown on top.

Notes

Topping amount may be doubled if desired.

You may substitute more apples for the pears if desired.
